Routine Is Key!

Paige is sleeping much better!  I've realized that routine is key for her and if we slip off her routine it's a downward spiral from there.  We've been doing naps and bedtime at the exact same time every day and that has help a ton.  Learning to lay down in her crib has also been a huge help.

She only woke up once last night!  That makes for a happy mom and dad, yet somehow I feel more tired today then normal...ha...ha...ha...

48 Weeks

I think we're moving in the right direction in regards to sleep.  Paige finally learned to sit down in her crib and it has made a world of difference.  She still woke up a couple times last night, but did much better calming herself back to sleep ;)!

She's been using her walking toy like crazy and honestly running around the house with it.  I know she could walk if she really wanted, but she's still scared to do it.  She laughs with glee when daddy and I let her walk between us...it's the cutest thing ever!

I'm beginning to wonder if Paige will ever sleep through the night!  She's been up at least 3 times a night for the last 3 days and it's really wearing on me.  She's learned to stand on her bumpers so I had to take them out, now all she wants to do is stick her legs through the bars and play.  She's dropping her morning nap, and she's very difficult to put down for her afternoon nap...I am beat!  I'm trying hard to stay positive in knowing that she'll fall into a pattern soon, let's hope tonight is the night.
Ryan has been in Canada with his dad at a rodeo for the last 3 days and we're looking forward to his return tonight...maybe he has the magic touch :).

Wild Walking Toy

Paige is using her walking toy like crazy, she actually runs behind it!  She's so nervous to walk on her own, but I tricked her into taking 3 steps today.  She will giggle when we walk together and she almost always cries when we stop.  I know she wants to do her herself, it's just a matter of time.

p.s. I made a new flower for her headband...a little over-the-top but I thought it was pretty cute.

Cousins

Paige and I went to hang out with Andy, and Tracy yesterday...Grandpa joined us too.  Alice and Andy had fun with Paige and she had a blast watching them run around and wrestle.  Here's our attempt at getting a picture of the kids together, some day we'll get a good one :).

47 Weeks Old!

Happy 4th Of July

Paige had her first 4th of July weekend!  We went up north to visit Nana and Grandpa, and I'm sad because my camera wasn't working properly so I didn't get any pictures!  We had fun on the deck in her pool and spent lots of quality time playing with Nana and Grandpa.

On Monday we went and had lunch at Grandma and Grandpa O's house.  It was a hot and humid day, and Grandma had a good idea for a cute photo.  This was Grandma's old wash tub and mommy's bonnet...they turned out pretty cute :)!

She loves playing with Uncle Pat, he got her to dance and every time the music came on she'd look at him and then boogie down.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family, Paige is so loved and we are so lucky!  Happy 4th Of July!
