He loves bugs and frogs and all things little boys can get their hands on! He also loves nature walks with his grandpa...and 4-wheeler rides too. He's growing so fast, before we know it he'll be 2 years old!! Slow down little buddy!

My Little Buddy
Our little is all boy, he loves to feed the deer so we can watch them later in the day. We usually have a doe and two fawns that visit, but one day last week this guy showed up!
The good news is he still loves to cuddle his mommy! We sneak into Paige's room and read books while she's at school...that way I get my cuddles too!

Kindergarten!
Here we are, it's finally time! Paige is BEYOND excited, she was up early and ready to take on the world. My emotions were whirling but I held it together. We had monkey-bread to celebrate her big day.
Paige is riding the bus with new friends this year, but her friend Ava walked down to the bus stop with us. They are such great buddies.
She was brave and excited up until she had to climb the bus stairs. Then, the tears came...luckily she kept walking up the stairs and found a seat. With tears in her eyes she waved out the window to Ryan and I...we both melted. I cried most of the day off and on, worrying and wondering how she was. Letting go is so hard, having no idea what she's up to is a big adjustment. Graham really misses his big sister and so do I! I'm looking forward some new adventures with Graham, our new "normal" is going to be different and fun!
We picked Paige up from school and she was all smiles, she said her favorite part of the day was the bus ride! She can't wait to go back...my heart is happy and full.
We all put matching hearts on our hands so that we'd all be able to look at them if we missed each other. Paige told us that she didn't miss us...I guess it just helped Ryan and me :).

The Day Before School
It's the day before Paige's first day of school...we decided a trip to the beach was a perfect way to end the summer! Our neighbors decided to join us, Paige had tons of fun with her best bud Ava and we all had fun together. They found a baby turtle so Graham and Olivia had a great time "playing" with him.
Kindergarten Orientation!
The time is getting closer, we are all a bit nervous for Paige to start Kindergarten. Actually, she's not nervous...she's REALLY excited. Ryan and I are nervous...letting go is so hard. She's been a constant in my daily life for the last 5 years, staying home with her and Graham is the best decision ever. I only wish I had more time...but even then it still wouldn't be enough. So proud of her!
Her teacher is, Mrs. Cotter and she's going to Wilson...her classroom is brand new. It's really cute and a great set-up. Her buddy Grant is in her class and a friend from her soccer team too, makes her first couple days a bit easier with friends around.
