Paige and I met Sara and Rylan for breakfast at Panera yesterday. Paige had fun watching Rylan "swipe" all his food onto the floor...she of course ate everything I gave her (I'm so lucky, she's a great eater). She loves watching other kids, and Rylan was a pretty funny character yesterday. Sara and I chatted between picking food, cups and other random things up off the floor. I'm excited that we get to have some "adult time" today, thanks to our moms for watching the kids! We're going out for sushi and then to "truffles and tortes" for a treat! It's great having her home, I only wish she could stay :)!

Barns
I'll start this post by saying this post has nothing to do with Paige:)
On my drive up north yesterday I decided to stop and take a few pictures of some old barns. I have this thing about old, run-down barns...I think they are beautiful. When we drive to Bigfork I always point out the "beautiful" barns to Ryan, he's starting to see the beauty in them too :). Since I was driving by myself, I decided to stop and document some of my favorite ones. Now, I need to find some old barn wood and frame these pictures!

Mommy's Night Out
Last night was my first night away from Paige. I went to my friend Janelle's wedding up north and daddy stayed home with our sweet girl. Daddy and Paige had a great time and I had a wonderful time at the wedding. I was so excited to get home and see Ry and Paige, and it was so fun to see Paige's reaction. She was so excited and gave me a bunch of kisses...I was bursting and I didn't know if I could stop squeezing her! It was great to have a night away, and it was a great reminder of how lucky I am to come home to my amazing family!
Janelle was a beautiful bride, and the ceremony was amazing. It took place at their family lake home, it was overlooking the lake and instead of lighting a unity candle they cast a single fishing line together into the water...pretty unique. I wish I would have had a chance to take more pictures at the wedding but I was running the video camera. Janelle is an awesome stepmom to Megan, and Megan adores Janelle...they are a special pair! I can't believe I didn't get a picture of Janelle and Cory!

Just Because...
He loves me....he loves me not...
She's got the cutest little curls, on humid days like today her hair curls right up.
Here are a couple other cute ones.

Hanging with Rylan & Hayden
Paige had fun hanging out with her buddies from Arizona. She loved rubbing Hayden's hair and watching Rylan roam all over the beach. I was the mom that brought her umbrella, and luckily I wasn't the only one...there were other crazy moms just like me :). We packed a lunch and at on our towel, I forgot how much sand there is at the beach (crazy, I know). We were a mess, sand everywhere...and I mean EVERYWHERE! p.s. Paige had her shirt off because I was putting sunscreen on...she wasn't topless :).
Snack Cup
Paige has mastered using the snack cup, it's fun to let her walk around instead of putting her in the highchair. Now if only she would eat in moderation, she wants to shove handfuls of snacks in her mouth at one time and it stresses her mommy out! She looks so grown up, how did that happen?
Froggy
Paige has a new little buddy! This little frog has been hanging out at our door for the last week or so and Paige has really taken a liking to him. If she needs something to do I usually tell her "go find your froggy" and she goes running to the back door. Then mumbles to herself as if she's talking to him. Pretty funny stuff.
