MOA

Since it was a cloudy/rainy morning we decided to get up and go to MOA! I had a coupon to "sea life" and it wasn't crowded at all! Ryan has been working a lot lately and it felt really good to do something fun as a family! We even ran into a couple characters from the movie "HOP" and Paige got a little stuffed bunny. She was pretty nervous when we were taking our picture, but said "Bye" and waved as we walked away. She tuckered out quickly on the way home, and then transferred to her bed and slept for almost 2 hours! It was a great morning and nap time for all of us.

Playing with Sam!

Samantha is on spring break, so she came to hang out with us and spend the night. Paige has been in heaven and has a permanent smile to prove it! We've done a lot since Sam got here and Paige has some pretty cute little toes, Sam is the best at giving pedicures!  I know I'll have a ton more tomorrow and I truly love watching these two spend time together, Sam is so good with Paige!

Growing like a weed

I can honestly say that I feel like Paige grew 2 inches over night. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that all of her pants were to short and most of her shirts were to small. She has a long torso like her momma and I realized that she was in need of 3T shirts! Her pants are still 24 months (some 18 months) but I couldn't get over that I was buying "my baby" size 3T.

See what I mean:

She's becoming such a little girl, talking more and more every day and sings most of the time. I don't think anyone else would know what she's singing about but I certainly do. Her favorites are "twinkle twinkle, I love you (from Barney), Old Mcdonlad, and lots of others that we've learned from ECFE (and some made up ones too.)

When she wakes up from her nap we usually snuggle on the couch and watch Barney or Elmo, but yesterday she informed me that she wanted to "sit by self". I asked her if I could sit with her and she said "No, mommy sit" with her little finger pointing to the other couch. She wanted to sit all by herself and wanted me to sit all by myself. I guess it's her independent side coming out, but I sure would have loved to snuggle with her. I have a feeling that those special snuggles after nap might be coming to an end, but I won't stop asking!
UPDATE: She let me cuddle with her after nap today, that makes me one happy mommy!

Sandbox

Paige got a sandbox, and I think she's going to love it! We picked it up this evening so she only had a short time to play in it before bath and bedtime. She didn't want to sit in it, but she wanted to stand in it...I'm sure that will change over the next couple days. Anyone who knows Paige knows that she doesn't like having dirty hands, but she didn't seem to mind with the sandbox! This is a fun new outside activity for her and I see us spending a lot of time playing in the sandbox this summer.

Fashion Statement

It doesn't get much cuter than this! As we were getting ready for church this morning Paige decided to add a few extra accessories to her outfit. She LOVES to wear her daddy's old cowboy boots and she added her hat too. She stomped around the kitchen and was so proud of herself...she's actually wearing the outfit again as I type this post. She wasn't happy that I took her picture, as you can tell by the frown on her face...ha...ha...ha...

On another note, one of her favorite things to do lately is shut the doors, luckily she just pulls them shut. We're going to be in trouble when she learns to turn the knob and start opening them!

New Door

Our new storm door was installed yesterday and we love it! Paige noticed it right away after her nap, she tried to see the neighbor dog and called for her friend Ava who lives across the street. She can see so many things out the front door now, she was really excited to see the school buses drive by! It's the little things, right?

Cousin Time

We were so excited to have Andy and Alice come over and play, they even got to spend the night! Paige had a blast with her cousins, it's great for her to play with older kids. Alice read her books last night and Paige cuddled up and listened, it was very sweet of Alice to be so patient. She looks so cute when she's trying to keep up with them. Andy and Alice have been so sweet and willing to play with her "little kid" toys. We went to story time at the library this morning and we decided that we'll go again when Andy and Alice are done with school for the summer!
Here's a few pictures from our time together :).
