Birthday Party!

Paige had her 1st birthday party this afternoon!  She was so excited to see everyone and had a blast, it was amazing to watch her play with the big kids...she is growing up so fast.  She was spoiled with wonderful gifts and the love from her family, she is one lucky girl!  We were very sad that Paige's best buddy Kenley wasn't able to make it, she is sick and in the hospital.  Uncle Eric and Auntie Shelly sent their love and we'll celebrate together when Kenley is feeling better.  Until then, we will be sending prayers up for her quick recovery, she's such a sweetie and we really missed all of them today.

Paige had a "ladybug" theme to her party and wore a cute little ladybug dress with a little ladybug bow in her hair.  She was so cute and it was fun to watch her open gifts, we couldn't love her more...we're so proud of our precious little girl!

P.S. She loved the cupcake and like every kid enjoyed the frosting much more then the actual cake.  I think she'll have a sweet tooth like her mommy & daddy.  Happy Birthday!

Teething Or A Cold?

We're trying to figure out if Paige is teething or if she has a cold.  She's been miserable for the last 2 days, I know her teeth are hurting as she holds her mouth and cries, plus she has buckets of drool on her shirt!  She's very sensitive and her nose is running like crazy.
I'm hoping her teeth will give her some relief soon, it's hard to watch my sweet girl be so upset!
Oh, and all of a sudden she doesn't like Tylenol...she used to love it!  Now she screams bloody murder and we have to hold her down to give it to her.  Oh Paige, I hope it's not always going to be like this :)!

Goofy Girl...

49 Weeks Old

Well, we're one week away from your birthday and somewhere along the way I missed a week or two :).  Oh well, I guess I gave it a shot and I'm pretty proud that I was able to get as many weekly photos as I did. You're still obsessed with pulling down the paper that I tape above your head with your weekly info and you giggle like crazy when you actually get it or when I say "no, no".  It's pretty funny and I've gotten some great pictures of your goofy side too.  It makes me emotional to think that your birthday is already next week. I'm very grateful that I've been able to spend some much time with you...we are blessed.  You are my amazing little sweetheart and I love you more than words can even express!

p.s. it was 108 degrees (with the heat index) today...let's hope the week cools off a bit!

Little Girls...

We had some friends over last night and Paige had a blast with the little girls.  Emma is 18 months old and Sienna is 10 months old, they all got along really well and even got into mischief together!  It was fun to watch Emma and know that Paige is going to be that active and talkative in the coming months. So much is going to change, it's hard to wrap my head around it.  Here are a couple pictures of Paige with her buddies!

Thunder...

Paige showed her first signs of being scared of a thunderstorm this morning.  We were playing in the living room and every time the thunder crashed she'd crawl as fast as she could to me.  Once she got to me she'd lay her head in my lap and fake cry, it was very cute and of course I loved the extra snuggles :)!

A beautiful day!

We had beautiful weather today, the humidity was low and the temp was nice and cool.  Paige and I spent a lot of time outside and it felt good to get some fresh air!
