Duck Park with Grandpa

Paige and I took Grandpa on a date to the duck park this afternoon. Daddy was mowing the lawn and taking some much needed time for himself so we decided to do something fun too. The ducks preferred the bread over cereal, but once the bread was gone the cereal made them just as happy. Paige had fun with grandpa and after all the food was gone (with the help of Paige) Grandpa took us for ice cream! I love last minute adventures that end up to be great memories. I still remember spending time with my mom at the duck park when my brothers were at preschool. I'm sure Paige will remember her time with Grandpa and will always remind him to buy her an ice cream cone!

Scrub-a-dub-dub...

Scrub-a-dub-dub....three kids in a tub! It was a long day of having a garage sale for Shelly and I, so we decided to do dinner and hang out while Uncle Eric was working on cabinets for his office. The kids played outside and then jumped in the tub, they thought it was fun! After the bath they all snuggled on Paige's new bean-bag to watch the Olympics while the adults tried to stay awake...ha...ha...ha

Kenley has been very "into" Uncle Ry Ry lately. She loves when he tells her stories...so cute!

Special Birthday!

What a special day for Paige! Some may say she's spoiled...I say she's loved! Sam spent the night and Paige was so excited to see her when she woke up. She kept saying "I wake Sam up" and we let her sleep until almost 8:00am before I let Paige wake her up (she was already awake).

Sam made Paige this ADORABLE Tu-Tu, Paige LOVED it (but didn't want me taking her picture).

After breakfast we were off to the beach! We met Shelly, Kenley, Eliot and Crystal. Paige was so brave and went in the water all the way up to her neck! Wow, she's changed so much! She would barely put her feet in the water 2 months ago.

After the beach we met Grandma, Grandpa, Alice, Andy, Tracy and Uncle Mike for lunch at Culver's. Paige was spoiled with more gifts and balloons, she LOVED it! Many of the people working at Culver's stopped to wish her a happy birthday and she was beaming...oh, and she sat in a big girl chair. After lunch we were home for a nap and more play time with Sam when Paige woke up.

Daddy got home early and the 3 of us went to the fair to see all the horses and animals. She had so much fun and really liked petting zoo where she held a cute little bunny. She kept telling Ryan not to scare it, the tractor pull was going on and it was very loud...she was worried that the bunny would be scared. Of course she loved the horses, she watched the barrel races and we walked through the horse area forever. It was a beautiful night, not hot or muggy...perfect for the fair.

Thanks to everyone who made Paige's day special, it meant so much to see her happy and I know she felt very loved!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Two years ago today my heart melted and my life had new meaning! Happy Birthday Paige, I love you more then words!

Hanging out with cousins

We went to visit Andy and Alice (and Tracy too) the other day. Paige and Alice like to "wash" this ducky in bowls at the kitchen table...keeps them busy and gives Tracy and I a few minutes for adult conversation! She had so much fun and kept talking about Alice's blue toenails and was thrilled that Tracy let her borrow 2 little babies to play in her dollhouse.

A visit from Sam

You guessed it, a visit from Sam equals a pedicure! This time Paige chose blue (because that's what Alice has) and her little blue toes are adorable! Thanks Sam!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Paige!

What a fun day, Paige was SOOOO excited and knew that this party was all about her! She screamed with glee every time someone came to the door, it was hilarious! All of her favorite people where here to celebrate and it warms our heart to know that her family loves her so much!

I had every intention of making a cake for Paige, that was until the many sleepless nights leading up to her party. Instead, I decided to go "semi-homade" and buy some plain cupcakes and decorate with horses. Paige requested a pink cake so I bought a pink one just for her!

She was spoiled with TONS of gifts...she is one lucky girl!

The best part was spending time with family and watching all the kids (big and little) play. We are so lucky to have such a precious and sweet little girl...she is our everything and we are so proud to be her parents! Our families are amazing and Paige is so loved, what more could you ask for your child!

She was so tired, she snuggled into her new bean-bag and relaxed before bed...

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!
